IT'S OCTOBER!!!!! Which means one thing to us here at Nic, Tys and Videotape HQ.... Spook-isodes. All month long we're gonna be talking scary movies, and to kick us off we've got a very special volume of our regular segment "It's On My List", where we look at the films we really should have seen by now but somehow haven't. And which gruesome and ghoulish classic horror film slipped passed us both for so long? That would be 1987's HELLRAISER, the film that introduced the world to at least the 5th or 6th most recognisable horror movie icon, PINHEAD (despite actually being in the movie for less than 5 minutes).

And joining Tys to discuss this demented classic in none other than non-horror fan (but Stephen King obsessed!) friend-of-the-podcast, Nicole Kiely!

PLUS! Netflix gives us another reason stay home from the cinema in Talkin' Trailers. Tys talks his first few days of scary-movie-watching in What Did You Watch This Week?, and we give you two ways to feel creepy and kooky in the comfort of your own home in Crossing The Streams!

As always here are the ways to get in touch with us if you would like to suggest a film for us to talk about, or to ask a question to be featured in our MAILBAG segment:

Thanks as always to Jac D for our artwork and Zac for our rockin' theme music.

NEXT WEEK!!! The planets are aligning this year to bring us a wonderful phenomenon. The 13th of October this year... is a FRIDAY!! So to celebrate this auspicious occasion, we'll be looking back to the first year of our favourite decade, 1980, to the film that conjures an image of perhaps the most prolific horror movie villain of all time (even though it took him two more movies to look the way you remember...), FRIDAY THE 13TH!!
