We're seen dark shadows moving in the woods here at Nic, Tys and Videotape

OCTOBER IS HERE! Which means it's time once again for our Spook-isodes, and while this year has been a challenge to say the least, we now have a whole month to try and forget our troubles and celebrate the best of horror cinema.

So with that in mind, THIS WEEK give a run to one of our favourite segments, Everything Old Is New Again, and this time 'round we're looking at two movies that attack the classic 'cabin in the woods' style horror in very different ways... the splat-stick gore fest THE EVIL DEAD (1981) and the ultra-serious remake from 2013.

PLUS, in Talkin Trailers, Mel Gibson gives us a unique take on the most famous resident of the North Pole, and in What Did You Watch This Week?, Nic and Tys both try a few horror titles trending on Netflix.

As always, here are the ways to get in touch with us if you would like to suggest a film for us to talk about, a different topic you would like us to rank, or to ask a question to be featured in our MAILBAG segment:

Thanks as always to Jac D for our artwork and Zac for our rockin' theme music.

NEXT WEEK!!! After the hellish relentlessness of two Evil Dead movies, we need a little palette cleanser. And what better way than to welcome Tim Burton back to the show, with his quirky and stylish take on the classic Halloween folk tale, SLEEPY HOLLOW!

Also discussed: Fatman (2020), The Witches (2020), The Platform (2020), Vampires vs The Bronx (2020).
