We're still having ourselves a merry little Christmas here at Nic, Tys and Videotape, and to continue our Not-Quite-Christmas-Movies specials we're turning our attention to screenwriter Shane Black, a man that has redefined the way action movie lovers think of Christmas, and his 1996 action classic THE LONG KISS GOODNIGHT! We can't get enough of the witty dialogue, clever call-backs, bonkers action scenes and the extreme bad-assery of the one and only Geena Davis, so if you're not a fan of this movie, this ain't the podcast for you! If you would like to hear two people bemused by the fact that Geena Davis didn't become the BIGGEST action star on the planet after this film, well come right in, the water's perfect!

ALSO! A couple of indie films piqued our interest this week in Talkin' Trailers, we look at a controversial sometimes-horror film from Nicolas Winding Refn in What Did You Watch This Week?, and in Crossing The Streams, you can choose from a surprise action hit from last year, or a film that essentially amounts to a movie length episode of "Damn Nature, You Scary!".

As always here are the ways to get in touch with us if you would like to suggest a film for us to talk about, or to ask a question to be featured in our MAILBAG segment:
