Why hello there gentle listeners and welcome to another episode of Nic, Tys and Videotape! We're still feeling a little bit of Spook-isode hangover here in the HQ, so we thought we could take a look at a film adaptation from everyone's favourite master of literary horror, Stephen King. BUT, it felt weird chatting about another horror movie with October still so fresh, so instead we're taking a look at perhaps the quintessential example of non-horror-King, STAND MY ME!! (Pipe down Shawshank... I said PERHAPS)...

ALSO! The Rock turns up again for the 47th role he filmed just last month in Talkin' Trailers, Tys revisits a forgotten Bruce Willis thriller to mixed results in What Did You Watch This Week?, and in Crossing The Streams, we give you the choice between an adaptation of a Pulitzer Prize winning play... and a Justin Long/Jonah Hill comedy from the guy that directed Hot Tub Time Machine.

As always here are the ways to get in touch with us if you would like to suggest a film for us to talk about, or to ask a question to be featured in our MAILBAG segment:

NEXT WEEK!!! Oh holy sh... I mean... night, DECEMBER IS HERE! Which means Christmas movies. Lots of lots of Christmas movies. But it's not just going to be us talking about The Muppets Christmas Carol for 4 weeks straight. NO! Instead, we'll also be taking a look at some of our favourite non-traditional Christmas movies, starting with the 1984, Joe Dante directed classic, GREMLINS!!!
