Nic, Tys and Videotape HQ we're returning to our regularly scheduled programming (that is until we start our Christmas Countdown episodes!!). And to return us to the land of the living, we're looking at one of the all-time feel good romantic drama/comedies, JERRY MAGUIRE!! Aside from the fact that we finally get to hear THAT Springsteen song in context, we also explore the star-power of Tom Cruise, the extremely odd career of Cuba Gooding Jr, and the power of great cinematic lines of dialogue. There's also some funny stuff too maybe... I mean what do you want from us?... AND TOM CRUISE RUNNING! It's back baby.

ALSO! We respond to a listener request and discover a gem of a trailer in Talkin' Trailers, Tys basically lets Nic take over while he complains about moving house in What Did You Watch This Week?, and again by some strange coincidence we do some clever counter-programming in Crossing The Streams!

As always here are the ways to get in touch with us if you would like to suggest a film for us to talk about, or to ask a question to be featured in our MAILBAG segment:

Thanks as always to Jac D for our artwork and Zac for our rockin' theme music.

NEXT WEEK!!! Nic and Tys love musicals. Tys is about to perform in a musical. It's a cheap plug, no doubt, but there's no better time to discuss this film, on the day that Tys steps on stage to perform the lead role. It's 2005's RENT, and if you want to hear two people complain about bad film adaptations of beloved stage musicals, we've definitely got you covered on this one. Don't miss it!
