Well hello there, helpless romantics! We're back for another episode of Nic, Tys and Videotape and this week, we're ready to get our ugly-cry on as we talk 2004's THE NOTEBOOK! Join us as we twirl our giant southern millionaire style moustaches, smash some pancakes for dinner and consider the benefits of "homeless chic" (with or without a dirty man blanket...) while we discuss this Nick Cassavetes directed mega-hit.

We also discuss the sequel to one of the greatest films of ALL TIME in Talkin' Trailers, Tys stumbles across a forgotten bomb from the mid-2000's in What Did You Watch This Week?, Nic recommends an indie sci-fi gem in Crossing The Streams and we turn one letter into an entire topic for next week in our MAILBAG!!

As always here are the ways to get in touch with us if you would like to suggest a film for us to talk about, or to ask a question to be featured in our MAILBAG segment:

Thanks as always to Jac D for our artwork and Zac for our rockin' theme music.

NEXT WEEK!!! Special thanks to Nicole for a great email that has inspired us for our discussion next week. Instead of looking at a single movie each week, every now and then at Nic, Tys and Videotape we want to just throw caution to the wind and have a good ol' themed discussion, and so next week we'll be chatting all things TWIN MOVIES! Now, this doesn't refer to movies about twins (Sorry Lindsay Lohan) but rather that strange film phenomenon in which two movies with almost the same plot are released within a year of each other... and we all pretend like it's no big deal! It's Deep Impact and Armageddon. It's Volcano and Dante's Peak. Its White House Down and Olympus Has Fallen. The list goes on!! And we're gonna try and tackle them all in what will surely be a loose and not at all comprehensive discussion on TWIN MOVIES! Don't miss it.
