Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to another mysterious and astounding episode of NicTys and Videotape! This week, we crack out the fake beards and old-timey top hats to discuss the 2006 Christopher Nolan thriller, THE PRESTIGE! Tune in as we lose our minds a little in the intricacies of this screenplay, while also realising that we're all just idiots for not picking the twist in this movie about 10 minutes in. And seriously... there are so many fake beards in this movie. It's out of control. We also try and fail to remember what the hell "The Illusionist" was actually about. Does anyone remember that movie?

We've also got some HUGE blockbusters to discuss in Talkin' Trailers, Tys blurs the line between film and television in What Did You Watch This Week?, and Nic somehow recommends a movie he doesn't actually like in Crossing The Streams.

As always here are the ways to get in touch with us if you would like to suggest a film for us to talk about, or to ask a question to be featured in our MAILBAG segment:

Thanks as always to Jac D for our artwork and Zac for our rockin' theme music.

NEXT WEEK!!! Tys digs into the filmography of his childhood hero, the high-kicking Belgian himself, Jean-Claude Van Damme, as we discuss the 1991 film that kicked off his weird fascination with playing twins and clones and doubles, ("It's a double!" - Michael Caine) DOUBLE IMPACT!! It's Van Damme x2 all up in your face for 90 minutes, and if that doesn't sound like a great time at the movies then this isn't the podcast for you! It's gonna be a blast, so don't miss it.

PS. We had some mild technical difficulties this week, so we apologise for the snap, crackles and pops you may hear toward the end of the episode!
